OK...

1. Firstbaseman fielding revamp- Just because you're a good fielding middle infielder it doesn't mean you should also be an elite level 1B fielder. I know the game doesn't know names, but you will always see players like O'Neil Cruz, Elly De La Cruz and many other move to 1B because they have good INF attributes.
2. Foreign first names - For example, German and Russian...unusable if foreign players/leagues are your thing. Also modern Latin should be updated. If you're doing a modern replay you get all the new players in future seasons with "older" first names. The first name set does not replicate the modern Latin American first name trends. Fine for 60s 70s 80s, but not modern or future.

The fielding rating mechanics are just a mess. It's impossible, for example, for a player to be terrible at 2B and playable (but not appreciably better than that) at 3B (and vice versa) without making at least one of their ratings ridiculously high or low.
