Rain Delays? Change in Performance?
Are there adjustments/modifiers to the plyers or game when there is a rain delay? Does the SP get replaced like IRL? My game was delayed 39 minutes, not a lot but enough IRL to change SP(?). I did see an error by the first baseman in a recent rain delayed game, which indicated the field being wet could have caused the error.

All bullpen pitchers are automatically warmed upafter a delay but I have not had enough to be sure if there is a risk in letting a hot pitcher stay in. I just make a judgment call on each case by case basis.

After a rain delay a SP is more tired than when it started.
The comment in the PBP about the wet field causing an error is likely flavor. |
