New York to Florida. Typical NY migration pattern.

First found OOTP in the early Covid times of 2020 but never played that much until this years version. Amazing depth to it which is what I love as I’m a total stats nut.

Also a huge NFL fan since the early 80’s and been following the 49ers ever since and watch at five live games every week!

Lifelong Giants & 49ers fan myself. I bought tickets to the 49ets vs Cowboys game as a surprise for my wife & son. Can't wait for game day to get here! I'm getting my son back for surprising me with tickets to the 49ets vs Packers playoff game last season for my 60th birthday which happened to be the same day as the game. What a good son! 😉

I'm in St Petersburg Florida, the west end of the St Pete - Tampa - Orlando Interstate 4 corridor considered by some as the Florida Axis of Evil.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?

We don't exist in real life.

We are all fictional creations.

A person has to be socially adept to do well in an urban environment. You've done that. Living in the wilderness is different from a vacation. You'd quickly get bored.

Isolation living in the middle of nowhere is best for those who can't develop social adeptness. It worked well for everyone until they invented internet message boards.

I completely agree about those who live in isolation but that isn't why I love less urban living and a cabin in the middle of nowhere wouldn't be my ideal environment. What makes Lake Tahoe my favorite place of those Ive lived in is a combination of the nature, less crowded, and the fact I'm more of a mountains/forest/lakes/rivers kind of guy. I miss seeing wildlife outside my windows each and everyday which I certainly don't have here in San Diego. Not counting the crows, seagulls, hummingbirds, and the neighborhood cats & dogs(not technically "wildlife" i know).

Although I've never lived there, I have to give a shout out to upstate NY, specifically the finger lakes area as I've visited it multiple times and loved it for some of the same reasons I love Tahoe.

As I said visiting isn't the same as living there. People who come to Florida for vacation think it's great. They notice that the high temps aren't any higher than the highs in central Ohio, etc. But then they move here and find instead of a week of those temps then get 16 straight weeks of them. And the rain. And the hurricanes.

Anyway, in your scenario, lack of people, especially civilized ones, in places like rural Michigan would get old quick.

In the I 4 corridor mentioned they have so far been unable to kill support for things like pride and diversity.

Sounds great. I’ve only ever been to one 49ers game when they played at Wembley many years ago.

Retired from and the Navy and lived in San Diego area. Actually worked for the Padres for 18 years. Retired from that job and moved to Arkansas where I live on a lake.

Delaware-based, so I checked "Northeast". But I'm semi-retired and travel a lot, which means I have played OOTP in Argentina, Chile, Greece, and the Caribbean. I discovered OOTP during early COVID times, and it did fill a void for me. Then I just didn't stop playing the game.

This poll made me think of how when someone at work asks what did I do on the weekend and I answer "played a bunch of this computer baseball game I like".
And then they move on with their day not asking anything more about it and I'm thinking "if only they knew how great it is, they're missing out!"

I've never even worked with anyone that was interested in trying it out never mind meeting someone in real life.
