Screen game
Just changed to a new laptop, and now the game screens seem very "long" and stretched out, and the size of everything is about half of what I have been used to on all my other laptops. See screenshots below.
i know it has to be a setting somewhere, but I don't see what the switch is I have to make to get it a more normal looking size and layout Thanks in advance |

You might try two things- 1. See what fullscreen looks like (along with noting what your laptop's screen resolution is. 2. With the screen resolution, select a set of specific horizontal and vertical sizes instead of "Maximize" (i.e., 2560x1440) or perhaps a bit smaller so you can access the toolbar, etc. That is what I do on my desktop as I find fullscreen mode messes up my mouse pointer location these last 4 or 5 releases.

Thanks guys,
I knew I had seen this discussion somewhere but couldn't locate it via the search tool. That change in the expert tab has it back to the normal look. Appreciated. It is too bad there are not yearly meetups where we could get the chance to meet and talk to the people beyond the screen names we see on here and say thanks to people in person. Cheers |

No reason that couldn't happen. It would just take someone being willing to spearhead such a get together and there being enough other forum members with a similiar desire. Might even be able to get a dev or 2 there depending on the timing. |

I have a college buddy who bought a large beer garden in Northern Virginia outside D.C. He loves baseball (although he is, unfortunately, a Mets fan) and could easily be persuaded to host a gathering. For those who are within a few hours driving or train. Just a thought. If there is interest, we can pick a date in the Fall.
