Since the addition of the Shot Quality data by Jeff, taken from the Natural Stat Trick model, it's made me long for this information also from NST, seeing as this info is already in game and tracked as part of the shot quality model, hopefully it would be possible. It would be really cool to know all of this stuff and give a valuable insight into the on-ice goings on.

I would love to see injuries having a bigger impact. This image is from a game in 1932 which means no helmets he will be out for 10 months with a fractured skull and come back like nothing happened. Something like this should drastically alter his career if not prematurely end it. It would also be nice to see injuries accumulate if a guy has numerous concussions or knee injuries etc it should start to show in the injury tendencies and again possibly alter his career. |

Can we do it so the GM can take control of lines in the game, and dressed players - kind of like GM control in OOTP?

I've been asking this for a awhile, and many others as well. In the current age where the front office of many teams basically run the show, and task the manager/head coach to just manage the players, the game needs to be updated for this. This needs to take higher priority than graphical changes to the 2D engine or changes to tournaments |

Global Graphics location
In the interest of all those who use graphics mod packs, it would be fantastic to have a centralized location of graphics instead of having to import them into every single save game. I realized my FHM folder was over 30GB yesterday and I don't even have a ton of saves.
Adding on to that, perhaps adding a way for facegen files to not overwrite graphic mod packs would be useful. Currently we have to set all images to read only manually. |

What id love to see, but might be a long shot is make the 2 big jr.a leagues playable. the BCHL and USHL. If you control a team in one of these leagues, the emphasis would be of course winning, but player development. work with your players to secure NCAA scholarships, or get them ready for major jr if thats the route the player wants to take.

Random Debut available in custom game mode and BEYOND the current (24-25) season in historical mode. It drives me nuts to only use half of the player pool, only to have it suddenly evaporate without warning.
In game jersey editor, preferably with lots of stripe options. |

Really hope the sim results screen is tidied up/re-designed. It needs a refresh and the information needs to be clearer to view and easier to access. There's too much scrolling and too difficult to pick out the info.

And if you try to click on the scroll bar to move it down, it's such a small pick area. Why not make that like 300% bigger. At least that'll make it easy to move from top to bottom. But I agree, way too much scrolling.

I'd like to see a check boxes for each year of a player's contract so when editing a contract we can select years that a player has a no trade clause or no movement clause.

Among many of the other trade/development related suggestions that people have made I would like a further rework of injuries. Although the delay treatment feature is great, there are still some injuries that NHL players in real life would play through that do not have this feature (mostly because you don't really have major treatment for it I guess), but the players will not play through it. So I hope that can be fixed (I think it would just be recategorizing some of the injuries).
I wish that there was a more in-depth development system where you can have more options for trying to guide the direction and kind of players that you prospects (or current players) become (it could also involve older players adapting to new roles, or players trying to restart their careers), though it shouldn't be a guaranteed success. I think other people also suggested having some mental stats continue to grow for older players even if physical stats decline. Finally, I know this is really hard but I would love some more in depth changes to contract and trade AI. Players often have unrealistic demands in both directions; players who haven't proved themselves should want shorter "prove-it" contracts even if it has lower value, those who are older will want term over AAV. There are already hidden trade factors but both contracts and trades should be more affected by the player performance within the current/previous season, including counting stats. There should be more asymmetry in scouting as well...there were times where I tried to trade prospects with high consesus potential but lower potential from my own scouts, and it seems like the AI's decision was closer in line with my own reports (I guess in-unvierse that might mean that they also have a different opinion on the player than other teams, but it shouldn't be true for every time if there's a "consensus"). On the other hand, we as players should be vulnerable to this kind of thing happening as well if we haven't scouted them enough. Those are my main suggestions and I hope the team considers them, though I know some of them might be hard to implement or balance. Very much looking forward to the next game! |

A few modest ideas for improvements
SCOUTING:
-- Increase the importance of the Head Scout and the Advance Scout. -- Have scouts abilities change up and down over time as they gain experience or fail to find talent. -- This would require a major revamp, but it would be amazing to be able to look back on past scouting reports on each player to see which scouts have seen a player and how they rated him. -- Many scouts are drawn from former players. If there were a way to develop a retiring player into a useful scout (or coach), it would make it a lot more interesting to be perusing other players' teams. COACHING: -- This seems a frustratingly static part of the game. A good organization develops coaches, who then get poached by other teams. The same with GMs, who tend to be drawn from scouting ranks. Having coaches and scouts improve the way that players do would add a fun element to running a team. TRADING -- Having random calls (emails) from other teams suggesting trades would be a welcome interruption. It's not the same as putting someone on the trade block. END OF YEAR PLAYER REPORTS: Having the coach and head scout prepare a year-end report card for each player would be interesting. Include where they started the year and how much growth they've had in each of the player categories. Who are the emerging leaders? Who is struggling to fit in? It can be as detailed or simple as you want, but it would add an element to the June year-end that would make the off season potentially much more interesting. LAYOUT -- This is a tiny thing, but annoying. Having the "Injury List" and minor league teams next to one another can easily cause someone to put a player on waivers when they mean to send him to the IR. The pop up boxes look too similar that if you're not paying close attention, it's really easy to lose a player. Separating them and/or adding a bright red WAIVER WARNING to the pop up window would be helpful. AUTO RENEWAL -- Please make this an option. Every few years, I get auto-renewed at the same salary I've been making since Day 1. I would like the option to have my boss big for my services and, if we don't reach an agreement, to then test my own free agency. RANDOM NAMES: -- At the startup menu, allow players to enter the names of friends and family, famous people and the like. It will help customize the game for everybody and avoid repetition, which I will note has got a lot better in more recent iterations of the game. And it's kind of fun when you see your best friend's kid pop up in the draft. |

when you Import non-nhl teams have the game, use the best logo for the teams instead of generic logos same thing with historic mode .
