Game Shutdown
I have my autosave set to weekly, i.e. Sunday to Monday saves, Anyway, I was in the middle of playing a game on a Saturday, I had just passed the trade deadline and I had made several trades. As I went to the top of the ninth to finish the Saturday game, the entire game shut down and I lost everything I had done that week including several trades. When I restarted OOTP, I was back to the previous Monday. Is there any way to recover the lost week and why does this keep happening to me? It has happened several times, and each time I have to replay the week, but this time, not only did I lose the games, but all the trades as well. I have updated to the latest version.

I don't know if there is any way to recover those lost days. Others may.
My practice is to save frequently (it's only a few seconds), and to back up the game as well, on a regular basis, and for sure after major trades or signings, on a daily basis. Again, it's only a few seconds to create a backup. I have restored seasons from backup after a crash or some issue, without any loss of data. I usually set saves to "dynamic" rather than the default setting. I actually don't know what that means, but it seems to yield frequent saves, if I happen to forget. I realize my advice is the classic "closing the barn door after the horse escaped". Prevention rather than a remedy. I hope you can recover the data somehow.
