So keep in mind this was 1970s on my release. More leagues get added as time progresses.

As I write this, I'm simming the 1977 European Championship. Since I uploaded that file, I've added...

• Coppa Italia Serie C (aka Serie C Federale, fourth division level)
• French Division 2
• Liga Nacional de Beisbol Division de Honor (the former name of the Spanish League, now the 2nd division in this game)
• Palau Major League
• Czechoslovak Baseball Federation (eventually will split off into the Czech and Slovakian leagues when Czechoslovakia dissolves)
• A minor league (A level) for Egypt
• European Junior and Youth Championships (they get renamed to the U-18 and U-15 Euro Championships later on)
• Intercontinental Cup

I plan on doing four levels of England...but the Double A and Class A levels of the pyramid come later. No need for the fifth division unless it gets over populated. Also keep in mind, the Scottish, Welsh, and Irish (because the Irish league has Northern Irish clubs) leagues won't be on the pyramid but will be international leagues.

As for independent leagues? Again, trying to mirror in a sense how they come about, so the independent leagues will pop up in the mid-90s.

I plan on most likely disabling the Champions and Nations Leagues come 1996, since you have to manually make the changes.

Two somewhat radical changes made to two major leagues by 1982:

The Continental League decides instead of an East-West split, that with the expanded playoffs coming for the 1982 season, they have adopted the moniker of the American and National Leagues, with the AL carrying the DH and the NL choosing not to do so. This calls for radical realignment. In the historical markers, the American League is the de facto Eastern Conference from 1961-1981, with the National League the de facto Western Conference during that same timeframe.

The other change is in the Spanish Baseball League. With a promotion/relegation pyramid in place, the East and West Divisions have been changed to Classment A and Classment B, breaking away from regional divisions and grouping classments by making sure other teams within the same region are not there, unless more than two exist at the top level.

The multiple teams in regions plays into effect in lower divisions of the European Pyramid. At the top level, the leagues prefer clubs from the same city (Liverpool, Paris, Madrid as examples) or regional area to be placed in different sub-leagues or divisions, where possible. In the levels below the first division (MAJOR LEAGUE or MAJOR INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE), these clubs tend to share the same group, region, or division to offset travel costs. Therefore, it is possible that at the Italia Serie B level that three teams from Milan share the same group, whereas two teams from Torino (Turin) are in opposite sub-leagues.

I'm in 1995 now. Keep in mind, the closer I get to real time, the longer it is going to take due to personal obligations.

The rise of the European Major Leagues are so wild. Continental League now at 32 teams, the 1996 release has two North American Major Leagues and just amazing!

We've made it to 1996!!!! Although I'm pushing the planned 1996 release to 1997 and reasoning being to make sure 1996 runs smoothly (something went wonky with the Continental League in 1995 that forced me to schedule an abbreviated schedule of 132 games, and it wiped out the standings of the Premier12).

This also allows the import of the Irish Baseball League.

Thanks for the reminder. I've been taking it easy. I was feeling OOTP burnout like I mentioned. I am gonna kick the tires on this and get back to it, but right now I'm running the test phase before releasing the next version.

Trying to decide if I want to do an association draft for the Continental and United Leagues, or each have a separate draft.

I need to see how it plays out and if the created draft picks go into the Association pool.
