I never knew this feature was in such demand. So many must be very eager to play if they are complaining this much.
It can't be they just want to complain about something so they picked a stupid feature that few cared about that has been delayed.

Based on the v25 announcement, it was one of the big features for this version.

I have been around here forever so I don't get to excited as long as the main game is running well and these last few years have been excellence. I remember in the old days the game was unplayable for weeks until they got the bugs out. For the price its the best ball game around. Remember they are a small group working on this...

Perfect Team was the result of an attempt to write head-to-head. During development it morphed into Perfect Team.

As far a the new "Pennant" feature, I'm looking forward to it. Since it seems I'm only going to play PT for 6 months, it would be nice to have another option besides the Classic game.

That said, the closer we get to the end of the baseball season without it, the more likely it will be a v26 add-on.

Too much time has passed for me to remember whether H2H or Associations were announced features in the leadup to release for that particular version, but it is surprising to me that the "Drive for the Pennant" mode (for the v25 golden edition release) was a primary announced feature that hasn't yet made it into the game. Wonder what happened

I don't have a huge interest in this particular feature, but I do care when a product is advertised and sold based on a feature list and one of those features has not been delivered as promised.

I'm not particularly upset as I wasn't interested in this alleged new mode, but it is something to watch, and remember next time the OOTP devs advertise features to try to sell us a new version. We should assume anything that isn't already in the game on release never will be.
