Combinator Question
I'm still not a hundred percent on how the whole combinator thing works. I have a 1952 Gold 83-rated Warren Hacker card, and it just successfully boosted to one-star level. What's the process for continuing to boost such a card, and what happens as the card keeps gaining boosts? I'm confused on even how a card like this then sells on the market, and how value is determined. Any info / advice is much appreciated ... I'm really a total newb when it comes to PT.
From what I can tell, it now has a +3 to his overall pitcher rating ... beyond that I'm unsure about the value, etc. of continuing to hunt down cards to keep boosting

Well, I'm not the best one to give you advise because I don't like the Combinators, but each "boost" works the same way. Those little red "plus#" symbols is how much is added each time you boost the card. If you hover the cursor over the 5th star, you will see what the final values will be. Hope that's helpful.

Thanks, that does help ... interested to learn more about their value in the market and how you are able to sell them ... they're the only cards I have that don't give you a 'base sell value' by right clicking.

I read the pinned post above that I hadn't seen ... seems ridiculous that the cards, when sold in the Combinator Store, revert to level 0 for the buyer ... that means there's no value at all in building a card up and then later selling it .... tbh I really don't see much value in dealing with these cards at all, really. If anyone has had success with them I'd love to hear about it.

Exactly this. Once you play 30-50 bronzes you'll see that they are OP and if you don't got them, you can't win reliably.

Yeah I've never really figured out the whole perfect draft / tournaments thing. So I'm sure I'm doing PT all wrong lol

I got really happy . I redid my team, and I beat a super combinator(24/26 cards were combinators of various levels) 3 times, and thought it was going to be a good day. I went on to lose the next 17 tournaments..Game is complete and utter crap with combinators.
