hoosierdaddy3277 Bat Boy Join Date: Mar 2024 Posts: 13	Fan Interest Fluctuation I can understand a team getting a huge boost in fan interest when acquiring a superstar player and losing a ton of interest when losing a superstar, but what is lacking here is context. If a team trades for a player as a rental and lets him go at the end of the year, the net gain/loss in fan interest should be zero. Likewise, there should be no great increase or decrease in fan interest if a career minor leaguer is signed or moves on.
