2024 MLB Live Cards

How are these Cards effected if a by Players who are injured.
Take Atlanta Braves Pitcher Spencer Strider-100 Perfect rating,
Out with Season Ending Surgery

Will he keep the 100 and his ratings all season or will it be updated?

Yes...Edwin Diaz remained 100 all season last year.

Because he played this month, Acuna will more than likely have any ratings adjustments done based on his performance in the past month, but after that, he'll be frozen for the rest of the year.

Depends on what they did prior to getting injured. I think its safe to assume that Strider will stay at 100 all season, because he pitched one game and after the last update he was 100, so I do not think he will be changing

I wonder if there ever was a discussion on whether season ending injury - cards should be removed from the game. Logically it makes sense, and adds a risk to every player.

Why should they be removed? Consider them dead/retired like most of the historical cards.
