In-depth articles or Youtube vids on player creation/editor?

Does anyone know of any articles and/or YouTube vids on player creation/editor? I have questions I'm not finding any info on anywhere and the OOTP 24 manual barley touches on the subject.

One of the questions I have is:
  • An explanation of the 4 buttons at the end of the editor:
    • Create current ratings based on stats
    • Copy current ratings to potential ratings
    • Create potential ratings based on stats
    • Copy potential ratings to current ratings

I don't mind playing around with aspects of OOTP to find out how certain things effect other things but I would like to have a better grasp of how the editor works so I can do a better job of creating the kind of player I'm trying to create so I can move on the using them.

Any help will be much appreciated.

1)the editor assigns a player skill ratings based on the stats you input, based on a regular 162 game season. So if you input 70 HRs and 200Ks the ratings will be high power and low avoid ks.
2)this copies the current ratings a player has and makes his potential ratings match it. So if he has 60 power, his potential will also be 60.
3)same as 1 but with potential ratings
4)same as 2 but reversed.

Silly question but wouldn't that mean that buttons 2 & 4 result in the same thing? If 4 is the reverse of button 2 which would be that it copies the potential ratings of a player and makes their current ratings match it they still end up with their current & potential ratings being the same just as button 2 does only the opposite way. 60 potential power would also be 60 current power.

Aside from that, if my ultimate goal is to create a player who has above average skills as a draft pool player but who has the potential to be an all-time great then I would use button 3 so that the ratings I create becomes their potential and then the game would reduce or back off those #s to lower current ratings? My first couple of attempts at creating a player resulted in a draft pool player with current ratings of as high as 80 which is not at all what I am trying to do.
