file names
i have found some home-run sounds that i would like to use so what should i name the files to? also I have some umpire sounds, can i usr those and if so, how do i go about using them?

You can change names of files. You can overwrite edited or unwanted files. Remember patches will revert the files so keep a backup that you can copy from after a patch. New files can be added. Look in the sounds folder to see what's available. Append a number that hasn't been used to the end of the file name. ex) ambient9.ogg is the last used then create ambient10.ogg. Horn.ogg is used after a home run. I don't see any specific files for home runs but it's an excellent idea. You can add horn1.ogg and see if it works. I have added strike three, out, safe and rally files myself. I also replaced modern rock music with period specific music for a league that started in 1871. You can use VLC to play/convert the files. You can use Audacity to edit files.
