Just a Reminder...

Breaking from my usual complaining about something in PT, I wanted to balance that out with an adjustment to our perception that I have to remind myself about now and then.

We tend to forget that the structure on PT is a Pyramid. Far fewer teams on top than on the bottom. Using the current Universe size of PT, here's where we stand today (give or take a few teams);

Perfect...... 40 teams.......Top 0.5%
Diamond... 360 teams.....Top 3.5%
Gold.......... 630 teams.....Top 9%
Silver......... 840 teams.....Top 17%
Bronze....... 1,110 teams..Top 27%
Iron............ 1,500 teams..Top 40%
Stone......... 2,490 teams..Top 62%
Rookie....... 4,140 teams...Bottom 38%

So, even if your only in Bronze, your the better team out of any 4 teams, and Gold nets you the better out of any 11 teams.

I have to remind myself of this every now and then - it would actually be cool if the game calculated this for you and listed it on your Home Screen.

I have to admit, the thought that I'm fighting (sortakinda) to stay in the top 9% does make me chortle just a bit. Perspective is a dangerous thing, you know...

I have 4 teams and I know I won't get very high up the pyramid without spending a dime but I'm still having fun!
