Today an incident happened that I have never seen before in 16 years of playing OOTP. With a runner on 1st, the batter hit a ball into the right-center gap that was obviously going to fall in and roll to the wall. The runner on 1st ran halfway to 2nd and stopped, allowing the batter to pass him and run to 2nd, then ran past the batter to 3rd. The game continued without incident to its conclusion, but this glitch was baffling.
I could understand if there was a possibility the ball would be caught. However, the ball was clearly over the heads of the two outfielders chasing it and falling in fast.
