Understanding Draft Lists in OOTP: And/Or, what does it mean?

Draft Lists are an online league only feature, so you won't know this unless you've been in one.

Can someone please read this and let me know if my understanding is fully accurate?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you add a player to your draft list, there will be a dropdown box to the right that says "And" or "Or". Understanding this selection is critical. To put it simply, "And" means you want to draft that player AND the next player on the list. "Or" means that you want to draft that player OR the next player on the draft list.

For example. I have 6 players on my draft list. 1-5 are tagged as "or" and #6 is tagged "and". It's your pick and the number 1 player on your list was already drafted by you in a previous round. Since one of the "or" players was drafted, the next "and" player, which is number 6, will be drafted.

I think you are getting the two different draft list formats combined. If you are talking about an online league for Stats-plus there is a draft list but there isn't AND and OR for that. It's just a straight up list and will take them in order from highest to lowest whoever's available on your list.

The Rule 5 draft and the Rule 4 draft (HS/College draft) in game (offline) has the AND/OR and than the round dropdown. I can't remember the exact specifics but if you just put the list in the order you have the guys ranked it will take the highest available player on the list. Just make sure you copy it to each round as there is an option to copy/paste to each round in the dropdown for the rule5.

No sir, I am not confused. I’m not talking about statsplus. I’m talking about OOTP. Draft lists are not a feature when online mode isn’t enabled, they only appear in OOTP when the league is an online league.

You’re incorrect that the game just selects the highest player on your list. And/or determines how your list is used. It’s not simply a ranking.

This is correct
