Is it possible to request a player be added to the base game draft pool?

I have a friend who plays baseball in high school and is going on to play baseball in college. He isn't in the base player pool for OOTP25, but could I request he be added to the game as a small grad present for him? If I recall, he was ranked moderately high for his position in his state. Thanks

This is great to read - what an awesome feeling it must be for that guy! What year is he in? Might have to draft him just to complete the story arc now lol
