How do I add independent league to MLB

I want to add an independent league on a MLB quick start so I can have some of the 3,000+ Free Agents playing ball instead of just sitting around.

How do I actually do that though?

Well technically you would also need international leagues also…some of the international leagues are much higher in quality than the US Indy leagues.

Create an unaffiliated minor league. That's what worked for me. Those team have gobbled up the guys cut from minor league squads or DFA'd from the big leagues.

So where and what do I click on to actually do this action? And can I do it during the season or do I have to wait for the offseason.

Under Global Settings then click on Global Actions and create a new league, tournament or template. Then use the wizard or not and set it up how you like.

As for when to do it, whenever you like. Obviously before whatever the date of the new leagues opening day, but otherwise the details are up to you.

I've added 9 Winter leagues to my game, and least 6 more Indy leagues I copied from Nutt's Big World.

This advice is fine iguess if you dont care about real world setups or dont mind a seemingly endless set-up process

I created mine in November when the offseason began. That gave those teams plenty of time to sign guys who where unsigned or got released.
