18-19 year olds are supposed to have lower ratings, this is intended.

The issue before was just that these were a bit too low in general. Ultimately it's generally only a difference of around 50 points or so, as to whether the ratings are 'right' or too low, so can certainly probably be a bit tough to see this with the naked eye.

Yes, scouting is an area where we are still working on, in some cases pitcher overall ratings come in too low.

In 25, the overall quality of league's relievers seem too low.

Over 20 years of league play, it's very rare to find a reliever with overall rating of 60 or higher.
It's not just a matter of relative rating, there aren't actually that many good bullpen in the league.

I think it needs a little tweaking.

Hi all. I just bought the game today! Question, do I need to install this patch or as I just installed the game, should it be up to date? I would appreciate help on this, and can you please advise if I need to download any other files outside of what I received when I bought the game?

Enjoy the game! At the bottom of the Start Screen, it will give the "build" number. Current is 63 (though it is a public beta).

Just booted it up and mine says Version 25.3 Build 58. As that is the topic of this, am I ok? I know you mentioned Build 63 as being current and also being a public beta. Do I need to update to the public beta (which I believe is in another topic) or as I am a newbie am I ok with the "current build for those for us not using the beta?"

I am sorry that I need help. I haven't gamed on a PC in so long and I don't want to screw this up. Please advise.

You will be just fine using the build 58.
I believe unless you're in an online league you don't need to have the latest patch.
I'm playing on build 58 myself.
