I'm currently redoing my old FGs and I wanted to give you an idea of the progress.

Top picture is the original one I did for the old FG project when FaceGen were added to the game.

Middle one is an upgrade I did last year that isn't in the universal pack.

Bottom one is the final version I just did and that one will be send to be added to the universal pack.

Usually I prefer working with a picture when available, but I really like that Mike Muldoon I did using a drawing (enhanced with an AI) compare to that other one based on a photo I did last year...

I won't submit this one to be added to the FG pack because people aren't sure if it's him or not in the photo thread, but if you want something else than the face we learned to hate for him in your game I share my FG here.

I won't lie... working with an AI make the process of creating good FG certainly easier. Even with an OK photo it could do a wonderful restoring job resulting to a very good image to work with.

BTW if you are curious 1894 is almost completed so we (LansdowneSt and me) should have a very good project update coming... it's plan for the all-star break I think.

Can't wait to reach an era where I will have good color pictures to work with... seriously check the process for one player.

First image is the original, second is first run though AI, third is second run through AI after cleaning the AI result, fourth is the result of FGM with image 3, fifth is running 4 through the AI (and finally the definitive FG)

IMG Creator... I'm sure there are better one but it works online (I don't use a mobile phone) and was easy to understand. The monthly cost isn't too high and I get more than enough credit for my FG productions (also the counter doesn't reset to zero each month).

I don't want the post to be lost in the universal FG pack thread so I repost it here

The fifties are now completed and available... which represent 1039 FGs updated. If you have the latest universal pack released by Lans the cut was 1954, so you must download my last update to get the new 1955 to 1959 FGs.

As usual two files available in my signature: everything I did since 1871 and a small one with only the fifties. Also I don't include the FGs done by Lans since they are already available in the universal pack.

Also all the previous FGs posted in this thread aren't really relevant anymore since I redo everything for the universal pack... I use more tools to produce so the work is much better.

1960 rookies FG (98 players)... All of them are done from scratch for the next universal FG pack release, as usual if a FG isn't included it's because the one done by Lans in the pack is perfectly fine.

Hey AESP, I love the way your Jackie looks, it's my favorite facegen of Jackie so far. I was wondering if you could do me a huge favor tho- on mac, his skin appears very light. Would you mind darkening his facegen once, just for mac users like me? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all you do!

Great work, AESP! You've probably answered this, but what AI are you using to run the old photos through?

Notice that most, if not all, of those were upgraded since I post them here. To answer your question about what I used to improve the bad picture it's a mix of many tools.

Remini Web: I use the free version but an eraser can easilly removed the watermark
imgcreator: another AI who isn't free but their eraser tool is
Kolorize: A good image colorizer, free with some restrictions
Microsoft Paint: When a smile need to be removed
IrfanView: To improve the faded colors of an image

Not sure if I should post this here or in a new thread, but...I'm having trouble finding some old FG files that I had with the previous version. Somewhere along the line, there was a FG pack that included some 19th century non-playing pioneers/managers - specifically, I remember having FGs for Henry Chadwick, Alexander Cartwright, William Hulbert, and 1871 Washington Olympics manager Nick Young. But I messed up in transferring my old FG files to OOTP 25 and now those guys are gone.

The pictures are below. In order, it's Young, Hulbert (couldn't find an image of him facing forward), Cartwright, and Chadwick. I've been searching the forums for weeks and haven't been able to find them. I'm sure there were others missing, but I'm starting a new 1871 replay and I'd really like to have them again. Anybody know where I could find them, or perhaps recreate them for me?

I'll check what I can do with them later today (when my 1874 redo will be completed)... I'm not sure if I will do a good one with Hulbert because he doesn't face the camera and facial hair doesn't render well in that case, but I don't see major problems with the other three.
