Historical Re-Calc Stats Issue

On the latest version (as of 4/24/24), playing historical with re-calc & Real Historical Transactions, is showing the "real life stats" on players for their whole career when you hover over them for that particular season (it should just be showing their "in-game stats" for that year and the few prior).

I.e. it's not accumulating stats via an alternate Universe... it just has their real life stats only shown.

It did not do this on the initial starting year. It instead resets after the first year to all of their real life stats, instead of their current/alternate universe stats.

See below pic of hovering over Marvin Freeman showing stats going until 1996, whereas the date of the game (top right corner) is 1994. It is like this for every player.

I thought this might be a case where the Import Wizard Step 1 had a different date selected (because that's where the import history toggle is) than the date that was entered in the Advanced Set-up section (assuming you went there during the wizard) for the "Start Date," but I have not been able to reproduce it.

Well the initial start year was not like this... year 1 was normal, had the correct year, accumulated stats. Then it happened after year 1, when it re-calced / went into offseason for year 2 ... so not sure how that could happen.

Just thought of a theory on this...

I wanted a 1994 season without the strike, so turned off historical transactions until the 1994 season schedule generated.

At that point, there was a 162 game season. I then turned on historical transactions & recalc, so perhaps after the 1994 season, the game didn't know what to do with a "full 1994" season for the re-calculation? Could that be what happened here?

EDIT: Think I figured it out. The above is correct ONLY WITH historical minors enabled as well. I did a test sim without minors, and all was fine. I added in historical minors, and it was an issue.

EDIT 2: It also has nothing to do with the 1994 season being strike shortened. I did a 2001 season, with historical minors enabled, and the minors appear to be a problem that mess with the stats of the "alternate universe" as initially posted. This was not a problem in past versions.

Per my last message, I tried it again with a different league (same issue), so here is that new league below via Google Drive, called "Test" (I deleted the old one). Just a reminder, the issue is with historical minors enabled, combined with re-calc, all stats (major leaguers too) get "overriden" by their real life stats even though it's not in that particular year. E.g., in 1994 and the players' stats are shown for their entire "real life" career, like through 2007, rather than the stats of the alternate universe that has been simmed. This only happens AFTER year 1 of the sim, when it advances into the offseason.

It seems to be an issue with changing settings between the Neutralized stats and historical minors. This should be fixed for the next update (it won't fix guys who have already had the stat lines added, but should prevent it in the future).

Thanks for the update! Great to hear. I really like the new ratings system of OOTP 25, so am looking forward to doing the historical sims with re-calc
