Please help

since about midnightish or so last night all of a sudden when i try to go into ootp, it brings up the home page, with the popups about the tutorials and stuff like i opened the game for the first time. before i can do anything,my laptop says the program is not responding do i want to close app or wait for it to respond. ive uninstalled and redownloaded multiple times. im running out of ideas and i just wanna play some ootp! any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows anything

Well, as you probably already know, two broad possibilities. It could be a bug in the game that only you have encountered, which is unlikely. Or it could be an issue with your computer. Are your other programs running smoothly, normally? Any issues with memory, graphics, or hard drive space? Just spitballing on those. I would submit a help ticket, and try to upload your game files, and maybe one of the OOTP developers can figure it out for you.
