Allow importing of leagues older than the previous version

Since older versions of OOTP are no longer available for purchase, this should really be a no brainer.

I do own OOTP 24, but I continue to play on OOTP 23 because 24 is so buggy, I just can't play it. Issues I've run into include the score not being correct, plunking a batter and starting a fight causes the text to say they were ejected but they are both still in the game. I even tested this by hitting the next 20 or so batters in a row, no ejection, and even when I finished the game, no suspensions.

If OOTP 25 allowed me to import my save games from OOTP 23, I would have already bought it and given it a shot. The reviews look great. Everyone seems to love it, but if 24 has broken my league, I'm not buying the next version just to be stuck starting over.

If we can't buy previous versions, we should at least be able to import leagues from versions older than the previous so we don't lose existing leagues just because we didn't buy every version in between.

You don't need to buy 24 to get the 23 game into 25. See this thread:

Hey, I appreciate the reply. My biggest worry though is still present with this solution. I do own OOTP 24, and I'm concerned that going through 24, my league will be tainted by all the problems with this version.. Maybe if I don't do anything with the league except import it and then send it off to 25, I can avoid all the crap that seems to be going on with 24. I dunno, someday I'll likely pick up 25 and give it a shot.
