How to export player ratings on a 20-80 scale in CSV files?

Sorry if this is obvious - I can't figure it out.

Hoping this is something straightforward for those who understand the game better than me. I'm getting more granular ratings (on a 1-250 scale) but I want to have a go a building a projection system based on exactly what I can see 'in game'.

Thank you!

You can't. The 20-80 rating is the scouts opinion on the league talent level. As these ratings are easily changed via settings, bdung able to export them would be troublesome.
IE an 80 in power only applies to your league and would change if thar player is imported elsewhere or you trued to recreate them.
IE 80 power in your league equals a 500 rating where in my league 80 requires 550.

Exporting rosters only provides the true ratings.

Well, for now it's a pretty ropey not-even-half-finished spreadsheet but I'm having a good look at it

If there are existing projection systems for OOTP that exist I would love to be pointed towards them. I've not had that much success so far

Hey man a ropey not-even-half-finished spreadsheet is still a spreadsheet!

What are you trying to project?

Have you ever seen the OOTPCalculator site? It was originally just to help decide which defensive positions a player would be suitable for based on their fielding but DanGraphs then incorporated some performance projections for batters and pitchers - https://ootpcalculator.com/position-calculator

For performance projections there used to be a spreadsheet system called MOPS - created by another user Sgt.Mushroom, though that will be out of date now (as is the projection system on the calc website too I suppose). There is a reddit thread here listing all user made tools from a couple of years back, worth taking a look on there to see some of the other things that people have created - https://www.reddit.com/r/OOTP/commen...ols_resources/

It also has their reddit handles attached, in case you wanted to reach out to any of them. Sgt.Mushroom has a discord server that is worth joining if you wanted to discuss the data analysis side of OOTP, the link is here: https://discord.gg/FEFWenap

I think I also sent you a link to a draft spreadsheet video on the RZB board a while back, created by a guy I know called Dan, he's on Discord too and loves this sort of stuff (spreadsheets, data, creating things). He's on that Discord server linked above too.

Thanks. Yep I've got MOPS and I've got OOTP calculator.

I've also found a FIP projection from a guy called Donkeykong on the forums here:
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=299342
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=838353800

I've also been reading quite a bit of stuff by Tom Tango like WARcels: http://tangotiger.com/index.php/site...arcels-warcels

And I'm also trying to understand this surplus value trade calculator: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=329246

For now I'm not going to over-think though stuff like run environment / model calibration, that's too advanced for me at the moment. I just want something to tell me for my save roughly what WAR I should expect from my players at each position and what sort of WAR my prospects are on track for when they reach their primes. Then I want to know how much expected WAR my team has got vs all the other teams and whether it's enough to consistently get to the playoffs (given average luck) or not. Basically I want Fangraphs but within OOTP IYSWIM

Sounds awesome - I've found with TCR in OOTP it gives the development a much more unpredictable element than other sports games, at least when looked at in a big picture view, so predicting a prospects future WAR feels almost impossible, to me at least. Still, if anyone can do it - I think it would be you!

Any idea on what to make of the changes in ratings scales between OOTP24 and OOTP25? To start with I'm building something for OOTP24 as that's the game I'm familiar with and then I'm going to port it over when I play my OOTP25 save, which I haven't started on yet
