How come sometimes a player i purchased has played before when most of the time they haven't played...?

They removed this last year and refreshed every card when purchased. IIRC, sometimes the previous team stats showed anyway. It did seem to disappear the day after the card was purchased. I haven't seen this so far in PT25, but maybe that anomaly still exists.
