PT25 Licenses & Accounts
This can be confusing so I'll try to be very clear to distinguish between LICENSES (purchasing the game) and ACCOUNTS (created within the game)
My understanding is that when we buy the OOTP25 base game we get:
If you buy OOTP25 GO, you get an additional LICENSE and ACCOUNT:
Question 1: The OOTP25 GO LICENSE does NOT allow you to create additional ACCOUNTS like a base game OOTP25 LICENSE does, correct? Question 2: If you later buy another FULL LICENSE (either a 2nd OOTP25 LICENSE or a future OOTP26 LICENSE) can you use the ACCOUNT from your OOTP GO License (Account 2-A) and make it your new MAIN LICNESE / ACCOUNT name? And then add 2 additional ACCOUNTS onto it? I basically want to know if an ACCOUNT I make using the OOTP25 GO LICENSE will always be a one-off GO ACCOUNT with no possibility to add additional ACCOUNTS even if I buy an additional FULL (base game, not GO) license for it. Thanks! Last edited by muSICKLessons; 04-19-2024 at 01:36 PM. |

The answer to Question 1 is yes, you only get one account per Go! license and no ability to create a second or third...unless you obtain another, separate Go! license by purchasing again.
Question 2 has to do with different app types. AFAIK, you will always get three accounts per desktop purchase. I can verify that purchasing a second copy of the desktop version allows you to create three new accounts even if you already have three from the previous license. I'm unclear on what you mean by "main account" name. Each account is unique and fully functional except that you can't trade PT cards between accounts created with the same license or join the same tournaments as other teams created with that same license. |
