Casting OOTP25 to TV Monitor?

I am playing OOTP25 on Steam and am curious if there is an easy way to play the game on my TV Monitor? I believe Steam used to have an option to play games on TVs but I never used it.

I'm guessing the only way is to connect my laptop to a HDMI cable but I wanted to ask if I am missing an easier option.

Thank you in advance!

You could steam link to a phone / tablet and then cast that to a tv I assume. I’ve never tried it but I do play on my iPad quite a bit.

If your tv has apple store or Google play you can install moonshine app and the corresponding sunshine app on your computer with ootp. It's the best streaming solution for even advanced gaming. Obviously the easiest answer is HDMI cable hardwired. But streaming allows on the go or to an ipad or tablet or phone.

Steam link kinda sucks for most games compared to sunshine and moonlight it might be ok for ootp as it's glorified spreadsheet.

Moonshine is available on every device iv ever seen. I have a Google Chromecast plugged into tv so I can Bluetooth a controller or Bluetooth a mouse and keyboard and I'm good to go.

I use Xbox 1 controller for modern games like red dead redemption I bought this mini hand held mouse/scroll wheel/keyboard/trackpad controller for heavy koude games like ootp football manager and turn based tactical. Think it's name was a Rii i8 or something it's both Bluetooth and wireless dongle.

The cool thing is you can seamless switch. So I can stream to non gaming laptop then move session over to ipad then my tv. Cause my gaming desktop is 24/7.

I use the tv option when kid relatives are over since they are use to consoles but I only PC game.

Awesome post. Thank you! I have never heard of moon/sun shine. I only have Rokus and smart tvs, so I need to look into getting a chromecast.

Thanks again!

I posted it here before and people thought I was a robot and the mods message me asking me like wtf lmao

what ever device you got just search its app store for moonlight i had it many devices. since they are all based on android or apple os basically.

So sunshine is the server part it will go on your gaming desktop. moonlight is the client it will go on any of your devices you can even setup your router so you can stream on the go outside your house!!

I like it cause I can play FM or OOTP lounged back in the couch or recliner or bed. And I use my ipad most of the time with that bluetooth controller.

the big tv is usually for like modern gaming like Red Dead Redemption or something in 1st or 3rd person. plus kids love it.

check out some youtube videos. sunshine has some slight settings you need to config. moonlight you just install and you are good to go.

it has completely changed the way i play single player games.
