Logo Request
I was hoping someone here might be able to come up with something for the Norfolk Osprey. Thanks.

I like that logo a lot, its very nice, but not really the style i was thinking, i guess something less native american themed would be good.
Come to think of it I'm not totally sold on the Osprey name at this point. These are all of the name I have seriously considered, if anyone wants to try any of them i would really appriciate it. Norfolk Osprey Norfolk Navigators Norfolk Dolphins Norfolk Ironclads Hampton Roads Hurricanes Norfolk Corsairs Norfolk Riptide This for a league with modern AAA level cities, so I guess I want the logo to be sort of AAAish, not so crazy as the low minors but not neccesarily as old fashioned as some the majors logos. Thanks in advance |

Navigators is top notch....excellent in all respects. Osprey is well designed...not crazy about the colors. The gold or mustard yellow could be replaced with orange. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-02-2003 at 08:55 PM. |

You didn't ask for this one, but one of the great sports nicknames ever was the Norfolk Neptunes - a semi-pro or minor league football team back in the 70s.

I agree that Osprey is a good name for a team. It's kind of coincidental but I used to have a foot ball pro leauge with the Virginia Ospreys (located in the Hampton Roads area) and I've always been partial to it.
