OOTP Go Rosters Not Updating
Has anyone else had issues with an old roster pulling up in the app and then causing any changes to your team? Changed out a couple of pitchers and when I loaded the game on the app, they were no longer on the active roster. Got back on the computer and they are inactive with the players I took out back on the roster. The inactive players are also forced to sit the 14 days.

Yes, I cannot quite figure out what is going on but I have found that changes made in GO are not necessarily being updated on my PC even after redownloading the roster. And, I think I have seen issues where I assign a roster on GO and then having some random set of players get assigned when the tournament starts.

I have consistently noticed problems like this with Go!, going all the way back to initial release with OOTP 22. Anything you do on desktop takes effect immediately. Things you do on Go! are delayed and won't necessarily show up on the desktop version. Best advice is don't make roster changes on Go!. I'm no expert, but I've always suspected that Go! uses the server databases as its source while desktop uses the local files and updates the server files real time.

I've noticed something similar today. Made the playoffs and set my rotation and bullpen well in advance of the games to give the best chance of progress. Went back to view the results and lost but then noticed that my starting pitchers had not been used in the games.

Just started a similar thread about this exact thing happening to Perfect Draft rosters -- I have the bench coach create the depth charts, save everything, and then see on the PC that nothing was saved. It's happened numerous times and it sucks, because I switch off my PC in the evening and the tourneys all start up early in the morning and my teams are a mess.

Do make sure on GO your app is fully updated, to ensure you have all the important fixes needed for some issues like these.

For a while, I've had a problem with the AI ignoring purchased cards (activated and added to the lineup or rotation). I see the cards in their proper places, but they never actually play. I have to wait until a new week and a new season before the AI will use these cards. And, yes, I'm using the latest GO patch.
