Percentage of Talent from Stats - best level

I keep the default 'Percentage of Talent from Stats' at 40, and the recent/current season at 40, the previous year stats at 40 and the 3rd previous year at 20.

Has anyone found a better combination (though it's probably very subjective)?

I liked using 40% from stats then 50/35/15 but found it really undervalued defensive dmen (loads were getting waived and buried in the minors by the AI although that could be a coincidence) so I have toned it right down to 20% from stats.

I've found that to be an issue regardless of altering these settings, since FHM8 when I first started playing. You'll have guys who are great defensively but don't have a lick of offensive ability get waived, overlooked or be rated at like 1.5 stars etc.

So it’s not just me it’s happening to then? All the time in my games the likes of Cernak, Slavin, Pesce etc end up as being 2* players and on waivers within a few years even though all their attributes are very good.

The most underappreciated players in the game are Defensive forwards. They are the most common on the Waiver wire along with backup goalies. Hard to fix this with the percentage options, because if you lower them then more top forwards end up getting waived.
