Overall Higher than Potential

Has anyone ever noticed something like this?

In the editor, a pitch rating for a specific pitch showing a current rating that is more than 100 points higher than the potential...

Example:

Current shows as 165 and Potential shows as 32.

Is this typical?

I have seen this before. Not 100 points higher but higher. I look at it like a temporary situation and he'll eventually become what he really should be.
