Disabling pause after AB makes 3d games impossible to pause

Hi,

On default settings for watching 3d games play out, if you disable pause after AB in pitch by pitch mode you will be unable to pause the game even by hitting escape. I've been spamming escape trying to get the game to pause so I can review stats up to that point but it's impossible, nothing on screen works.

This is on Mac fwiw. Could a slight delay be added by default to prevent this from happening, where it gets caught in a loop that's impossible to escape without finishing the full game or force quitting the application?
