The explosion of light on opening a pack is utterly irresponsible

If this doesn't get fixed immediately, I'm going to have a class action lawsuit initiated against COM2US for their utter disregard of the health risks they are causing to epileptics and others with vision disorders.

You think?

One of my late wife's college friends was an attorney working for the government in the 1990's when her epileptic daughter died in a one-car crash when she had a seizure driving home from school. No one knows what triggered the seizure, but she was driving eastbound in a late spring afternoon, so a flash reflection of sunlight can't be ruled out as the cause.

The friend quit her job to go to work for the national epilepsy advocacy organization, which is headquartered somewhere on the Maryland side of the DC metro area. They are very effective in getting people to stop doing crap like this. Although the friend is retired, I'm sure she still has contacts.

I believe someone else complained about this earlier. I also saw someone telling me that I can turn off that flash in my settings tab. I don't need to do that, but I sure would like to. I tried but didn't succeed. I'm not epileptic (that I know of) but I am in great sympathy with people who have that rare and extremely dangerous disease.

Frankly, I think Pittsburghers who are insensitive to the special needs of others are the ones who bring shame to the community. Just saying.

You have to turn off 3D animation to stop the sis-boom-bah.

Ah, a class action threat. Let's see...that's where the lawyer make $5,000,000 and you get a Wendy's breakfast card.

It's a game. There's an option to deactivate. Move along.

I think setting the pack to 'instant' removes it too.

There are many disadvantages to turning off the 3D animation the funniest of which is that you will open 2 packs at a time, but only get the data on one of the packs. It makes me wonder if I even got 6 packs worth of cards when I only see the data for 3. Nice feature, there!

It figures, a good suggestion when I don't have a pack to open.

Bailey, when your first option is to threaten a lawsuit without having done your homework, you’re a joke. That’s all I was talking about. It’s a game…#fmgwac

Edit: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. Alinsky works for me now.

Oh, you meant the lawsuit was the game.

Looks like they changed their animation; you can save your lawyer fees, it would seem.
