Emailed you a Dropbox link. Only setting change when I started the league was to hold the draft.

I am still experiencing a bug where unsigned draft picks do not result in compensation. I offer the contract to my first round pick, it is rejected and I get a message saying I will receive adequate compensation. On draft signing deadline, I get a message saying that I will not receive compensation for the first rounder.

Definitely will try to do so. I've set a reminder for myself.

It's a long holiday weekend here in Europe though, and goodness knows we need a little break given the crazy schedule we've been working the last couple months to get things out in decent shape.

So honestly, I would not expect us to get around to reviewing this before middle of next week or so, depending on how things go and go from there depending on what we find.

I will just say further, I have not seen this in the hundreds (or thousands) of tests I've run.

Also have not seen bunch of reports of this. So I'm pretty confident this is some sort of weird setup/settings thing and should be fine in 99% of games. That's just an educated guess though.

Appreciate the timeline.

I can with certainty tell you that I left everything on default when I started the save, other than holding an inaugural draft and making sure that I could see max >80.

I also do not think I saw this in the previous seasons - if it was there I definitely did not notice it. I just check who I need to protect, protect them and then sim the draft. This time it caught my eye because of the age.

Maybe the beta update adjusted something in my personal game. If I have some free time I can try to do a do not disturb sim for a few years and see what happens.

For what it's worth, I've started one standard game in 25, am 7 years in, and have encountered this twice. It also happened to me occasionally in 24.

From what I can tell, it seems to be an issue with the AI putting players on the 40 man roster (or active roster) who are nowhere near ready to play in the majors or even high minors. Not sure if this only happens if players use the "have AI set up complete organization" option. Wish I could be more helpful, but I've definitely encountered it across multiple versions of the game. In 25, I have been carrying an international amateur on my 40 man roster for 5 years and he's still not ready to play in the majors lol.

Anyway, not a huge or urgent issue. I hope you guys enjoy the long holiday weekend. Cheers!

That actually makes sense. I just may not have been looking for it in some tests and not caught it because if that.

Matt did see some of the young players getting promoted too soon in his recent tests, and we've already discussed it and it's on our list of stuff to look at for the next patch.

I installed the new version on a 1-season old fictional league during the Winter Meetings. When I re-opened it, there were three players I had traded away still showing on my salaries. Two I had traded away during the season and had eaten the remainder of their contracts. They had become free agents and signed with new teams, but they showed on my "Team Salaries" list with their new contracts. The third was a player I had traded after the season, prior to arbitration, but I guess I had agreed to pay the rest of the salary ($0) for some reason, and that player was now back on my roster with his new salary. I restored the game from a backup from the end of the season, but I'm hoping it doesn't happen when I proceed again.

One thing that definitely is occurring is promoting International talent into the DSL at 16yrs old, etc. Every single save I've played it no longer waits for them to mature, it's irrelevant to how many players you've scouted in. I've not been able to figure out what it is since the DSL rosters have sufficient talent.

Does the reliever salary fix work on ongoing saves before patch?

Not too familiar with how much a reliever should be making but the 5 star ones demand about 25 m in free agency and the 3 star ones demand 12-15 mil after downloading patch on ongoing save is that about normal?

You will get the updated logic within your save, yes.

I imagine, depending on where in your save you upgraded to the patch, there could be some lingering proposals out there that were offered/generated on the previous build so that is something to keep in mind.

Was hoping this would have gotten another look prior to official release. Mass exodus of young fringe talent in the high minors retires while rookie-grade talent of the same ages remain in the free agent pool. You've got players just finishing their age 26 seasons, many who split time between majors and minors, retiring off AAA rosters.

I'm in my first off-season since the reliver demand change, was hoping giving it a full season would help fix it. Andres Munoz is still demanding a 5 yr 117 mil deal.
