If that is checked and still issues run “computer manager on all ai teams” I believe is what it’s called in settings.

Game Settings > League Settings > Functions > Roster Functions > SET ALL COMPUTER TEAMS TO ALLOW AI ROSTER CHANGES

One thing of note for these is that the AI is using Ohtani in LF. Manipulating it so he is used as DH only in 2024 and then transitions to Pitcher/DH in 2025 needs some work.
The default roster seems to manage Ohtani without issue. He will occasionally pitch for the Dodgers in Sept 2024 once healthy, but he plays as the everyday DH for LA.

Others have said that if Ohtani suffers another injury (any) with an existing DTD arm injury, AI will put him on the 60 day IL.

I’ve not tested this myself, but I’d rather just adjust his ratings as needed versus another small injury knocking him out 2+ months.

If you have already started your season and want the updated MLB draft order, just place this file in import_export subfolder of the saved file, then navigate to the draft, then import from CSV, and import this file.

To check if everything loads correctly.... see if the San Diego Padres have the final two picks at the end of Round 4 (#135 and #136).

First I just want to say, great roster set! It definitely challenges the one that comes with the game as far as accuracy IMO. You don't have as many rando's that come out of nowhere and light the MLB up. One thing I'm noticing, is the only prospect with 70+ potential is jackson holliday. Once you get to the international amateur showcase, depending on how many players you have it set to create (i use 60), you get about 5 players with 70+ potential. I've found that decreasing the player creation modifiers to about .9-.93 for all ratings has helped to decrease that number to just 1. I feel this helps to keep balance in the long term. Have you messed around with this feature at all?

GREAT information. I have not tested that out and that is great feedback for everyone to note as to not have International FA’s “overpower” the current prospects. I’ll use that information and hope others in thread do as well.

Updated roster stuff through 3/24 (includes Colorado's Tovar extension - final numbers year by year not out yet, so estimated in roster set)

- Updates to injuries

- Updates to players opting out (such as Domnic Smith, Matt Duffy, etc now all free agents)

- Misc ratings updates

This might be my last roster update for OOTP25 to actually play and enjoy the season.

With all of the ratings adjustments, the draft classes will throw things off...right?

This is not a 2024 only file, it’s intended to be a OOTP25 2024 and beyond file.

I carried this file over from the off-season and OOTP24 from the popularity of that file this offseason. This gives users another alternative roster set 2024 season file to use versus the default OOTP25 roster.

If you want to use the most latest version of the file yet you will need to start a new season.

The newest versions just basically have team transactions and/or injury updates. Usually a few ratings adjustments here and there.

As far as 2024 draft, My file has 8 players at 55 FV in MLB 2024 draft which is slightly above average potential players. This class is regarded by most experts as weak overall. Another 19 are 50 FV / potential to be average MLB players. Some pitchers like Hagen Smith and Chase Burns Ive increased to 55’s, and may pitch their way to 60 FV if they keep dominating in real life.

With the adjustment to displayed pitch ratings with the new patch, there also appears to be a better curve for the high end pitchers. Many more starting pitchers are rated 65+ FV without me changing anything.

I plan to go through and check some prospects ratings and may make some adjustments.

I’ve set INT Free agents to .900 in all creation fields. Not sure what that will look like yet with the new patch honestly
