Update on Patch #2!

I wanted to use the settings for expand League and Schedule expansion draft and it is not working....highlighted....is something wrong with my game?

Definitely learned my lesson on buying the game early.

This game is unplayable and this franchise has gone down hill since selling out. Can I request a refund here or should I just call my credit card company?

The game used to notify you of new updates when booted up. Should my game still be doing that? Hasn't so far....

Have you looked through your settings? There is one that authorizes OOTP to "display latest news" to you.

Meh, some years I buy it early. Some years I don't. I never truly learn the obvious lesson: OOTP is never ready to ship until late April at the earliest.

It really is incredible the little obvious issues that are wrong...like it couldn't be more clear they never tested this.

The initial schedule is off by an entire day. Did nobody run a franchise mode before playing? There are multiple players with multiple versions of themselves in the game.

Like even the most basic of things are poorly done.

edit - and even after the first patch, the schedule is still messed up for the following season. Mind boggling.

If we overwrite our current game with the patch next week will the updates apply to our current save? In second year of a daily plan and would hate to give it up. Love the game so far!

originally we had planned to release the 2nd patch for the weekend. But, unfortunately one of our server providers had a server farm being shut down due to a water leakage on Thursday morning. This server farm included the server we use to create game builds. They have been working hard to get the servers connected again, but apparently they were not successful yet. Fixed issue changing to neutralized stats in historical setup
Fixed not receiving draft pick compensation for unsigned players
Older minor league free agents will retire quicker. Teams will release older minor league players easier

PT: Fixed combinator cards in “Your Card Orders” tab
PT: Added list of used tournament/draft slots
PT: Adjusted default depth chart AI (avoid worse fielders)

PT: Multiple fixes to Tournament Roster Builder:
Remove duplicate roster restrictions
Roster restrictions now have a general sort (Non-Cap/Cap, DH/NoDH, then by restrictions)

Can now select which roster to use while the tournament is preparing or before the first game has been played.
Can now export from tournament to a new local saved roster
Improved back/forward button navigation

Which is fine. Buy 25 early and get it on sale. Then keep playing 24 until 25 is where you want it to be. Then switch.

Really? A bunch of younger/lesser established pitchers in your league don't have a hodgepodge of 35 (on a 20-80 scale) rated pitches that never ever progress?

To be clear, I think the game is amazing as always and I can't fathom the amount of work it takes to put together such a great product, but I have definitely noticed some weird issues crop up in this version that I haven't really noticed in the prior iterations.
