Pitcher velocity decline is extreme

I'm playing in my imported fictional league and have put in a few seasons on the new game. One of the first patterns I've recognized is pitchers losing velocity early, like 27 year olds even, and dropping by 5+mph within a couple of seasons.

All of my development settings are default as they have been for all the years I've been playing this league.

This hasn't affected every single pitcher, just a surprising number, I'd estimate at least 60%.

Anyone else experiencing this?

YES! And its not injury related or anything. I've had it happend often in the middle of the season and the drop is consistently down to 89mph regardless of where it was before.

I've been changing it back to what it was.
