- I would love to see various older players stay relevant by instead having they're attributes and production fall of the planet but allowing a slight increase and possibly even have a chance to add the charisma trait thru prior accomplishments such as winning the Stanley Cup. ie Maroon, Perry etc... Leadership skills should be increasing thru the players careers, its never going to move the needle entirely on winning a cup but it should mean more than what the game assess it at this point.

- Defensive style players are being dropped like hot potatoes, and constantly on waivers and sent to the farm. (BUF: Samuelsson, WPG Dillon, MTL Xhekaj etc..) what's even worse is the same for gritty tough players. I would like to see the game add a real value on these players and not see players such as Duhaime, Jeannot, Gudas on waivers and playing in the AHL for they're careers.

I go thru every single team before i even start a career and change leadership values and also add NMC clauses to tons of players so they aren't demoted to spend eternity playing in the AHL. As the players listed above and the amount of changes I must do, I need to create a quickstart to preserve all my work.. this shouldn't be the case... you guys have youtube videos out constantly, does this not urge you to make these changes while seeing this for yourself ? The NHL is always changing but this is one of the things that distance me from the game for weeks on end

The defensive player issue is annoying for sure... AI doesnt appear to value defensive players

I then took the Leadership essay example from https://papersowl.com/examples/leadership/ for this. It turned out to be very good inspiration from the proficient writing team. Absolutely right. The values of leadership should gradually increase throughout the player's career. This should also make team management more realistic. It's strange why this was overlooked
