No, sorry. It used to work earlier in the beta, but something must have changed in Steam since then. We will look into it once we get to it, right now there are higher priorities still demanding more attention I'm afraid.

As someone who plans to exclusively play on SteamDeck, this is unfortunate, but understandable. Please don't forget about us, can't wait for the day this gets fixed!

So your response for us that bought the game under the false pretense it was supposed to work with Proton (according to you) is too bad because it isn't a high enough priority for you? Normally I would be understanding but this response is basically an insult to those of us who trusted your word and frankly not what I expected after all the great customer service the company usually provided in the past. Very disappointed.

Mate, if you would have preferred a corporate-speak response like "your call is very important to us and we are working on a solution as fast as we can" I'm sure he could have given that to you, but you would be no closer to a fix. I'm also sure that you can get a refund if you want to walk away from the purchase.

(I am also anxiously awaiting a fix)

I just tried it on Steam Deck after the latest update to Proton Experimental and OOTP 25 opened for me. I haven’t had time to dig into it but it’s running, which is a huge improvement.

I spent an hour or so in the game and it’s working pretty well on the Deck now.

Lightbulb

Linux Mint user here. Tried Proton Experimental today and... it worked!

I didn't download any update or new version. Just works now. I tried multiple versions of Proton including experimental on launch day and the day after with no dice, but it seems to work now.

Hopefully my PT team isn't too far in the dust

Lightbulb Update!!!

I got it to run on my Steam Deck using GE-Proton9-2. Use the first part of this guide to install it from Desktop mode:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...?id=3177959238

Then make sure you go back into Gaming mode, go to the properties of the game, go to compatibility, check the box, and then select "GE-Proton9-2".

Have fun!
