Logos not showing on front of Jerseys

I have OOTP25 from FastSpring. I installed it using "run as adm" and everything installed per default. I have not added or changed any files. When I start a 2024 MLB season, the logos are appearing on the front of team jerseys in the team settings. However, when I play a game vs the PC AI the front of the jerseys are blank. Names and numbers are on the back.

I've never seen this before, honestly have no idea what could cause that.

Can you turn on trace mode and then send that to us from when you're in a game?

Generally with any graphics related issues, our first advice is always to update your video card drivers if you haven't recently done so.

Oh boy....the "never seen this before"...ugh lucky me. OK. I can tell you all the drivers are updated. This pc is only a year old and is higher end graphics build. I have many games and have no other issues. But Ill try and do the trace.

Ive also confirmed this happens in Perfect Team game replays and highlights.

Seem so odd how only those logos would be displayed.

ive contacted both the PC maker and NVIDIA and according to them there is nothing wrong with my equipment. This is ridiculous and beyond frustrating.

If you can potentially post the trace file I'd mentioned we might be able to see something from that.

Do you have any mods installed at all (even if these specific uniforms are not mods)?

Doesn't seam to be a gpu problem. The jersey textures on the field are just plane ones and not the ones from the pictures and uniforms dialog. Since the Name and number gets generated per player, it is not part of the jersey texture.

After uninstalling and re-installing countless times. This time DL the "mirror" version. Even though Id assume its the same.

After default install and changed nothing, the logos did appear on the game.

So then I started trying some different settings.

I found that when I disabled FaceGen from the Main Settings/Facegen tab, (not the game settings and then exit and restart) then the logos on the front of jerseys DISAPPEARD!

When I undid that move, enabled facegen, exited and restarted....then went back to game action, the logos re-appear.

So Ive found at least one source of the cause.

However, does that make sense? Now that you know this, is there anything I can do to play the games WITHOUT FACEGEN and still have the front logos?

In Game Settings, top selection - ensure it is set to none. That will stop fictional facegens. To get rid of the licensed facegens that come with the game go to Settings (this time from the Start Screen), then hit Troubleshooting in the pop-up window. Then hit "Go to Folder with Customizable Data". In there is a file called "fg_files". Inside of it are a bunch files with an .fg extension. Those are the licensed player faces. Select all and move out of that folder.

Then you can keep facegen enabled (for the logos) and not have either real or fictional facegens generated. Best workaround I can think of. Note that with every patch the "fg_files" folder will be repopulated. So, repeat that part as necessary.

Alternatively, maybe there is a way to point the game in some Game Settings tab to look for facgens in some empty folder, so it doesn't matter what is the "fg_files" folder.

I see ya found it. On he Facegen tab in Game Settings. That checkbox under the "Player FaceGen Pictures" looks like it controls if it reads the files in the "fg_files" folder. But I opted to tell you to remove the literal files in case that toggle also controlled something with the facegen/player model affecting your logos on the uni. You can try that though and, if you get the logo and no faces, then you can save the periodic file dumps.

We might need to tweak something with the setting to keep that from happening. I do not think it's intended behavior.

Should be fixed in one of the next updates. Meaning: Disabling facegen will no longer prevent the right jerseys from being loaded.

go back in and lock in team logos texture at the bottom. You'll have to reload them.
