We can't be surprised. This is a generation that truly (no lie), thinks using punctuation in texts is passive aggressive.

I agree 100%. I spent the last 15 years of my working life doing quality assurance reviews of legal documents. I was shocked at how many people with law degrees could not spell and/or used incorrect punctuation.

You know what else confounds me about this generation? They don't believe giving their apartment number is necessary info in giving their address.

It isn't necessary info when the Amazon man dumps everything in the lobby anyway. Because apparently nobody can be arsed anymore.

As a former part time postal worker and currently enters addresses every day, I can say they are definitely necessary.

I completely agree with you. As someone who works with addresses every day, apartment/unit numbers are absolutely crucial information. It drives me nuts when people don't include them! Like you said, their packages might end up in the lobby then. Or worse, it could get delivered to the wrong place entirely. This generation needs to realize that little details matter, especially when it comes to important stuff like addresses. Proper spelling and punctuation are important too. Laziness is no excuse when it comes to quality and accuracy.

Punctuation matters as well. Y'all are correct!
