That's the new tournament slot format for PT25.

There is a sticker post at the top of this forum page called: PT 25 Road to the PTWC


It has a link to a document that outlines everything.

Wow, that really stinks. I play mostly tournaments, now only 2 tournaments per team? Why on Earth would they cut that back?

It's not two tournaments per team, it's...

Traditional Tournaments
- 2 Quick Slots
- 4 Daily/Weekly Slots
- 1 Entry Fee Slot

Perfect Draft Tournaments
- 3 Overall PD Slots
- 1 Entry Fee Slot

IMO it should be 3 quick and 3 daily. You are basically knocking PT+ used from 4 slots to 2. IT is going to be hard to earn packs. A least go back to the top 32 of daily tournaments get packs.

I get it, you want people to pay to play, but this really limits what you can do.

All that's true. And let's not forget, we all paid for the game, so no one is truly F2P. Cutting quick slots down to two is a 33% cut, and severely impacts the packs you can earn.

On the other hand, bronze quick tournaments are Double Elimination so even though you only get 2, you can enter 30-40 every day! Theoretically, you can win more packs than with 4 slots of Bo7.
