update downloads

For some strange reason, I have yet to discover. When i download the update software it first asks if i allow this to make changes to laptop i say YES. Then I hit NEXT then AGREE then NEXT and after that nothing occurs.

Anyone has any ideas ??

The .exe file came in at the full 2,031,684 KB size?

OOTP 25 is closed when trying to install?

I know these seem obvious checks but sometimes it's the little things that trip us...

With these updates, I've experienced a noticeable lag before anything obvious happens (that is, after agreeing to the update). The lag is long enough that I've wondered, "Is the update working?"

Perhaps this is true for you also. If so, once you get the update going just wait for several minutes.

Also, check to see what version of OOTP you're running. Perhaps the update did work when you didn't know.
