Help with Dev Lab
All of the longer term training programs that take 4-5 months do not seem available. I realize you need enough time to finish the task, but even on the very first day of the offseason, these options are still not selectable. I can select the shorter length ones without issue. I tried checking with both big league players and fresh prospects. Thanks in advance.

I've now also realized that if I allow the AI to fill complex, players are added with the 4-5 month drills. But I am unable to select the same player and drill manually.

So the longer ones, that are rated Hard and Very Hard, do not show up at all in the list of available programs? or they show up but the *select* button is not enabled?
Can you post a couple screen shots? And what are your league configurations?

It appears that the long-term goals are possible during year two, once you have a full offseason to work with. For year one, with the game starting in January, I could only choose the 2-3 week options.

You will not be able to do any of the long term programs when you just create a fictional league. You might be able to do the 5-6 week ones. You will have to wait til after the playoffs and that is when you will want to start the 3-4 mo programs.
If you create a historic league, you are right on opening day so you can't use the dev lab at all until the off-season starts.

Thanks everybody for the input, and sorry if this reply is late.
This is on the very first day of offseason of a fictional league. It's late October or early November. The options for the longer programs are visible but cannot be selected. The shorter programs are visible and selectable. I thought maybe it was the season start date, but if I allow the AI to fill the slots in the dev lab, it is filled with players that have the longer programs. I'll try to grab some screenshots. |

Could you take a look at league events and see what the dates of preseason and Regular Season are for next year
Definitely does not explain why AI is able to schedule those long projects but curious if your league dates are off somehow.

I'll deliver the file tomorrow, sure. @koohead, I suspect this might be part of it. The season is set to start on March 25th, which seems a bit early, but as you mentioned, doesn't explain why the AI can fill the slots.
Upon further review, the setting to start the season is March 20th, but requiring Thursday start day. Not sure how it got set to that, but I've adjusted it. |
