Tiny OOTP 25 screen on Hi Res monitors (How to fix)

If you open OOTP 25 and everything is so small you can't read it on 4k and 8k (1400 and 2160 resolutions) there is a very simple fix built into OOTP.

Click on settings either on the OOTP main page or if you are in a game and click on file. Click on Expert and down where it says "Use windows DPI scaling" turn that to Always Off and then close the game and reopen it and your font and scaling will look like it did in OOTP 24.

Lifesaver is right!

Was getting frustrated as hell with it, and was not the start that I wanted from '25, especially since I wanted to explore the changes under the hood.

Also, if you're like me and tried to enlarge the font in settings before coming across this thread, don't forget to put your font size back to standard after!

I will note that if you change your actual windows DPI to recommended (mine was a bit higher) (Window/Display/Scale) it makes the game looks pretty smooth. I had mine at 200% and dropped it to 150% and it oddly made it look right.

I've tried all the suggestions in this thread and the technical support thread and its still incredibly small font and weirdly proportioned layouts. Any other ideas? Thanks

I am not seeing it in the "expert" area. Is it because I am a Mac user?

I'm not having the issues in this thread since I play on a MacBook, but I don't see the option under expert similar to PSU. Dunno if the game recognizes whether or not you have a 4k/8k monitor, though.

Here is what it looks like:

EDIT: I am on a MacBook Pro, so I am guessing it's the reason. I don't think I'm actually having an issue, but I just wanted to compare to see.

Ah. Interesting. But the good news is you don’t need it as the scaling looks good. That’s a relief and the most important thing
