It sounds you you may have lost a connection to the server. Can you try closing the game and going back in? Does that help?

It's definitely some sort of connection issue with your local CDN that keeps you from getting the art downloaded.

Try whitelisting OOTP in any security programs, VPN's etc you may have installed, one of those may be blocking something.

After turning off the 3D pack opening animation screen, I seem to be unable to open packs (clicking the pack image in the top right now does nothing).

Previously this would open packs, which I have done successfully.

If I turn the 3D pack screen back on, I can open packs again.

That's over my head haha, I play on a MacBook, have been playing PT for 4 years and never had this issue . .

If not, you might try the option to wait for images to load in the pack opening settings. Giving it a little longer might let them load if the connection to the CDN is slow.

Was about to post this exact same thing as I can only open packs on 2D without crashing.

Can confirm that I'm having this issue too.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I pulled a combinator version of 91 Alex Avila. Are these cards shown only in the Combinator Watchlist portion of the card shop?...I'm guessing yes. However, it still looks like a regular diamond (that's my card in the shop bottom picture) whereas actual combinator cards look red when on my roster. Just think you want them always looking red if it is the combination version.

Tournament Builder Bugs?

I used the Tournament Builder to create a new roster for a 2000-pt CAP tournament, uploaded it, saved it, and entered a tournament, selecting that roster from the dropdown. I noticed three issues.

1) Even though I had uploaded the tournament roster and selected it for the tournament after entering, I had never entered the tournament itself. I clicked on the tournament 'Set Rosters' button from the 'Your Tournaments' Section of the OOTP Start Screen and the roster was empty. I went back to the OOTP Start screen, clicked 'Show Tournaments', confirmed that the roster I had uploaded was still selected, and clicked 'Set Rosters' from that screen, and the roster auto-imported as a default type (correctly).

2) THIS ONE's SCARY: After setting up a roster in the Tournament Builder, when I went back to my main league team, my roster was messed up. It wasn't EXACTLY the same as the 2000-pt cap roster I had just built, but it was really really close. The roster might be a version I had saved (but later changed) in tournament builder.

3) Clicking the back button to navigate within Tournament Builder results in blank screens coming up.

My username is zfarrow if you'd like to take a look at my rosters in your databases.

EDIT to add: I did open a pack and noticed that Harrison Bader (and likely others) from that pack were automatically added to my Free Active Roster in league mode. So that explains a bit of the difference between the tournament builder 2000-pt cap roster and the live one that got messed up. However, you can see all the players who were deactivated (currently showing 13 games cool down remaining)

Every Live pitcher has (very poor) ratings at other positions (all have first base, most have 3B/LF, some even have SS, etc) in tournaments and perfect drafts.

I believe this to be a bug caused by the (good) change of allowing players to be fully-trained in tournaments and drafts at "Eligible to Learn" positions, and an unintended consequence.

If this is actually "working as intended", it's a change from OOTP24, and I would ask for it to be announced/explained.

If we're giving players defensive ratings at positions they don't play, then all batters should have ratings everywhere too, even if they're terrible (note that I am not actually advocating for this).

There was a bug with it, so we removed it. We'll fix it up and give it back to everyone soon, probably tomorrow.

Similar to an above user I’m not seeing card art no matter resetting the cache, letting it load, reloading the game etc. I don’t use a VPN.
