Perfect Team 25 - Launch Plan

INTRO

OK, so here is how we will launch the OOTP 25 beta, Perfect Team and the final release this week.

(Note: All of this does NOT apply to OOTP 24 Perfect Team, that will continue to run as usual.)

IMPORTANT: If you played PT24, the login info carries over to PT25, please do NOT create a new account but rather simply log in with your PT24 username & password! Cards & PP balances etc. will not carry over, as in previous years. Only your username & password does.
We also have a loyalty bonus program, which looks at your PT25 account (username & email) and if this account has been active for previous Perfect Team versions, it gets the following bonus packs (skipping one version reduces the bonus to the next level):

Since Perfect Team 19: 3 Diamond Packs, including 1 Historical Diamond Pack
Since Perfect Team 20 - 22: 2 Diamond Packs
Since Perfect Team 23 or 24: 1 Diamond Pack

On top of this, everybody who creates a team during launch week, gets an extra Diamond Pack, Gold Pack and a special 25th Anniversary Pack!

TIMELINE

Tuesday, March 12
On Tuesday, sometime around noon US (ET) time, those who pre-ordered the Fastspring webstore version will receive an email containing download links once the public OOTP 25 beta is available, and we will also post the download links on the forums, so you can still pre-order and access the beta after March 12.

You will be able to create / log into a Perfect Team account and team, however, this is just for the beta! You also get 50k PP and about 25 packs to play around with, but this is just for the beta. You will NOT be able to buy PP and absolutely everything (PP, cards, team) will be reset on Friday for the official launch.

Wednesday, March 13 and (most likely) Thursday March 14
We will release a public beta OOTP 25 patch which fixes reported problems of the past day. We will set up a sub forum here for you to report problems and feedback.

Friday, March 15 - Official Launch Day
At around 2-3 AM ET (essentially in the middle of the night) we will reset all PT25 beta teams and shut down simulation servers. At around 7 AM ET, the system will be reopened and you can log in (using the same PT24 username & email combination to qualify for the loyalty rewards) or register a new account and set up your brand new team again, open your starter packs (plus any bonus packs) etc. PP purchase will be available at that time, too. However, simulations will NOT start yet, we don't want Steam users to be at an disadvantage.

At 9 AM ET the game will officially launch worldwide, on Steam and for the Fastspring webstore customers, all at a 30% launch discount (same as pre-order discount). Download links for the final version will be emailed to pre-order customers. At that time, all users that now have the game can log in to PT 25 or create their accounts and start their teams, load up on PP if needed etc.

Around noon ET the first Entry Pool leagues get created and simulations start either exactly at that time or half an hour later.

Monday, March 18 - First promotion round
At the usual time (morning ET) we will start the first PT25 promotion round. This time, we will populate the first five levels (Rookie, Stone, Iron, Bronze, Silver) based on team winning % compiled in the entry pool. Teams with less than 30 games in the Entry Pool will automatically start at the Rookie level. Simulations will most likely begin 10 AM ET, as usual.

Friday, March 22
On Friday (8 AM ET) the 30% launch week discount will end.

Info about the "Perfect Team Live" launch: In Perfect Team Live you set a team based on 2024 Live cards, and depending on the daily real-life performance of the players you selected, you will receive rewards. This feature will launch shortly after MLB Opening Day, March 20.

2. PT+ users were able to save PT Live lineups. Will that feature be available to everyone this year?

Last year we were able to keep our old teams and get 3 new teams in PT24. Will this same procedure exist, or will we be limited to only keeping 3 of those teams?

1. No, OOTP Go will launch a few weeks later than OOTP 25.
2. There will be no PT+ in PT25.

Thanks Markus, and sorry I wasn't clear on the 2nd question. Will the ability to save lineups in PT Live be available to everyone this year? It was a nice feature but was only available to those with PT+.

I cannot find a link to re-download OOTP25 for a third time. I bought early for the beta versions and now I cannot get into Perfect Team.

Where am I supposed to find the right link to download the new version?
