Saying Goodbye

So, as we know, EriqJaffe's fantastic cap and jersey utilities are going away (at least in website form). I know they're continuing as a desktop app, which I certainly downloaded, but this has really proved kind of an inflection point for me. I've been playing OOTP for decades now, and making logos, jerseys and caps for as long as those have been available. With the utilities going away, with OOTP moving to a different format for jerseys, and just with my diminishing interest in baseball generally, I've kind of drifted away from the series. 2021 was the last OOTP game I purchased, and probably will be the last one I ever purchase.

With all that said, I had always meant to dump all my stuff up here for the community. I've been making this stuff for years, and periodically I'll get around to popping it up here, so some of this won't be new. I've also lost a bunch of things over the years, so some of my content only exists on these forums (the Soviet Union league, for example). Anyway, I know this coming a little late, as many of you have moved over to newer versions of the game, but I'm going to put all this up here in hopes that it's useful to someone. Hope y'all enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your graphics files with the OOTP Community.
Looking forward to see all of your work... I'm am planning one last dynasty league... it will be the only one I play... I will need new teams, logos, jerseys and caps... hopefully, I can get some from your teams.

I'm like you... in the last year interest in OOTP seems to have dropped off drastically... viewership on my Dynasty Reports is down by 70% of what they were... yep, folks could be burned out on my dynasty leagues... they could be tired of them... my almost 20-year-old Islandian Pro Alliance used to get 250-300 views a day... it down to 75 a day... part of the decline could be because I have not been able to regularly report on my league because it will not schedule the playoffs.

Markus and the Development Team should be able to tell if interest in the game is falling off... sales and forum views they surely know... I don't see as many regulars as I used to... it is hard to get graphics done this days... many of our wonderful graphics designers are gone and are no longer active n the Forums... knuckler, low, Lawn Loaf for example.

Markus and the Development Team need to address this issue if I am correct in my accessment.

I hope I'm wrong...I hope the game will get better and better for years to come.

And yeah, buddy... I bought OOTP25 already and really looking forward to improved 3D animation.... I hope they get the camera views and zooming quality better this time around... maybe a few new features, too... hope they will fixed long-standing bugs, too.

Thanks, man. Yeah - nothing against the developers, but it's just not as much of a passion for me as it was when I was a younger guy. My kids are getting bigger and other games have grabbed the time I do have.
