Ootp 25?

Does my perfect team in 24 disappear when 25 comes outs?

I just bought 24, but don't want to spend too much time on building up my perfect team, if it will be nothing in a couple months.

I had 21, built up good cards, didn't play for years, started again, now those cards are completely gone.

PT24 will run for about a year after 25 releases, if past versions are indicative. Then...poof...gone. Once 25 releases, expect 24's Auction House to wither. That said, there's still a while to have some fun and use the opportunity as a learning experience to reacquaint.

Alot of time spent every year?

So every year you have to put a bunch of time in to build a deck up again? Cards don't transfer from year to year?

It's a one year experience with an extension for another 12 months. However, interest fades fast once the new game is released and most players start over.

Why?

If your team / PP's carried over, so would everyone else's. If you have a bad team now, it would still be bad after the carryover. And you'd have less hope of climbing the pyramid than you will if all the whale teams have to start over too.

Yep, it's the way it works. I hope no rules are changed to this.

Not disappointed in the game. Disappointed that I purchased 24 so close to 25 release to start off fresh.

Ah.... For those that read this and don't understand the quote.... I stated this quote above in retaliation of someone attacking the game and its community....

This said...

I agree with you that no rules should change. Not sure if that was a sincere statement or simply just using my own words to continue an unrelated discussion from another post, where you attacked the game and it's community...

I simply was disappointed that I purchased 24 so close to 25 being released, to give me a chance to reach the top... That was my own doing and I accepted it. I have no quarrels with the game or its community itself.. No shots fired at the game or its community. I enjoy peaceful discussion if it starts that way, but will defend when someone/thing is being attacked.

I would enjoy to know how you interpret this as a cry? I expressed disappointment... I accepted that I purchased the game late in the season, and that was my own doing..... I understood that this is what helps makes the game amazing and sought no change in the system, so I wasn't trying to get my way. I accepted it as a reset year to year game, and learned from it. Is this weakness? Seems like a strength though.. Could be wrong on that one.

Wow. You carrying a grudge and being salty towards someone across threads while calling the community toxic is certainly the pot calling the kettle black.
