ONLINE with comp question
We have a small league and are thinkin about going to OOTP5 from seasonticket2003..... question is, can you send offers to computer in multi like you can in single player. That is, find a deal that works before going to commish etc

comparing seasonticket2003 to OOTP5 is like comparing checkers to Chess, or for the more well versed nerds, Risk to Axis and Allies
OOTP5 is better, period. I know that didn't answer your question, but you don't need to know more. |

STB2K3 is the retail equivalent of OOTP4, which really is a lot closer to OOTP5 than checkers is to chess or Risk is to Axis and Allies.
If your online league has a commish password set, the offering team button on the player trade screen in OOTP5 is protected. Owners will not be able to change it to look at offers. If you don't use a commish password for your league, they should be able to select their team and make offers. |

It let you do it in 4, thanks to a bug that allowed the trade password bypassed.... really nice for fielding offers easily. Should be an option in 5

What's the fun in re-signing every player? Afraid you'll lose out on someone? Sounds pretty shady to me...
And Karen, nice "nerd" reference. Bait, hook, line, and sinker. |

I think the reason it is protected is for leagues that use scouts. Teams were able to view player ratings with another teams scout.

yea but if scouts are eliminated or balanced.... you should be able to bargain with the comp on ur own!
